In terms of price, they are relatively more expensive than other hypermarkets for most of the goods, like fruits & vegetables; in addition, no milk products varieties. However, for some special items, especially those which are on promotions have good prices because they do good discounts on the promoted commodities.

This third-rate store is not able to provide even a modicum of good service. First, the place is always dirty. Second, there is also chaos in the checkout lanes and there are rarely any employees to bag your groceries. Because of this, the checkout person stops his job to bag groceries. Third, there are never any baskets for those shoppers who only want to buy a few things and do not need a shopping cart. The baskets pile up around the checkouts and are not put back at the doors for arriving customers. Also, the shelves are not well-maintained and some items do not have a bar code and cannot be purchased easily. The store is just very-poorly managed and chaotic in so many ways. With so many choices of similar stores in Riyadh, there is no reason to shop at al-Sadhan.
