Green, shady and sunny spots for old and young, but very open, and sometimes crowded. You'll find a little playground with a gate so your infants can't escape. There also is a volleyball field, ping-pong tables and a boulder wall, as I recall.

Probably the best park in East Leipzig. Very multicultural, nice bike lanes, good for sunbathing or grilling.
