A fun little corner dive with good beer and local foods.
On consecutive nights, I enjoyed the Schnitzel with fried potatoes, and the kassel (pork loin or ham steak) and potato salad.
Great!

Metzer Eck is one of the oldest continually-operated bars in Berlin, having remained open through two world wars, the DDR regime, Berlin’s reunification and the recent gentrification of many former East-Berlin neighborhoods. This is a casual pub with good cold beer on tap and a small selection of freshly prepared German comfort-food staples. The prices are low and the staff are down to earth and friendly. It’s a great place for an early evening beer, a light supper or a relaxed night of drinking and people watching.

The food is great. The price is good (most expensive dish is €10). If it is raining or cold, there are just a few tables, so you might wait. It's frquented by locals. I saw some men playing cards, like in a mafia movie. It was interesting.

Nice place, you can sit in something like a garden and gave a drink with friends. Menu with food is short, typical german but nice and tastes very good. Usually visited by local people (from the kietz), not tourists.
