If your in town and you need sunshine, this park will usually give it to you. The offer for kids is good enough, there's a great cafe with picturesque seating, and some green areas for lounging. There's a Ping pong table and almost always people playing bocce. There are bathrooms but they're not too clean. The view is awesome.

Marvellous view of the Aare river and the Gurten hill. One can enjoy the few summer days of Bern here. Nice and friendly service.

Absolutely beautiful! Plunk yourself down on a bench and find a cool drink to relax in the afternoon. Bring some picnic food if you are on the ball! There are games to play and the view down to the river is wonderful. I really enjoyed this area and it's super clean. The chiming of the cathedral bells is also sure to impress.
