Great park in the middle of Dublin. Many, many trees and good walking paths. Lots of seats for people and wildlife watching. Several lakes and ponds, with lots of bird life to watch and feed. All thanks to Lord Ardilaun of the Guinness family who created the park, his statue adorns the eastern gateway to the park. Did you know? The rocks around the waterfall at the East side of the park are artificial, made of concrete!

It's nice to walk through on the way to work. Unfortunately, one sometimes sees a lot of homeless people congregating there. At night, they hide in the bushes until the gates have been locked. If I had kids, I would say it's a place to avoid - due to the risk of needles lying around. Apart from that, it's a very pleasant park with some attractive, big, old trees.

Beautiful park in the morning! I had a delightful experience feeding the pigeons with a gentleman that looks after them. Lovely creatures, despite of what we usually think of them. They were very clean and friendly.
The gentleman also raises donations to give to charity 😀

Great park in the center of Dublin. Go there if you want to get away of the busy city life, and take a moment of rest. Enjoy the kind of weird combination of swans, ducks, pigeons and seagulls all living alongside each other (mostly) peacefully. Nice way to spend a lost hour or two.

Lovely park in the middle of the city. There is also a kids play park and a pond I believe that you can take the kids to feed the swan. I came to this park to escape the midweek hustle and bustle. Plenty of benches but wish there was more under cover to escape from the rain. You can find anywhere to get a touch of tranquility and a nice spot to read read. The park is well kept.
