Charles Schumann is Munich's legendary bartender and certainly Germany's best-known barkeeper. Schumann's bar opened in 1982 and has been the go-to place for everyone in the know ever since.

One of the German local recommended this place for a chilling night, with "legendary" as the compliments. Me and my friend was a little bit suspicious about that but in the end it was one of the best! I ordered Cosmopolitan and Sweet Science. They are both great in harmony (with Vodka and Whisky). My friend ordered Horse Neck. He gave a really good feedback as well. I will definitely recommend this bar.

Nice place, depending on amount of guests they often stay open until early morning. Audience is chic dressed but a bit snobby. So the waiters are. Don´t expect to be treatened like a guest - you can be happy to be allowed to get a table and to get served ;/

Way past their famous times. They serve more "alcohol with juices" than cocktails here. If I wanted that, I'd visit Sausalitos. Their homemade Lemonade is good, though.
However, if you want to see the Munich Schickeria (really no clue why they still head here), this is the place to go.
