You know a place is good when you have a solid mix of hipster 30-somethings, elderly people, goth 40-somethings, and toddlers, all enjoying themselves while getting a sweet buzz. The atmosphere is cheerful, relaxed, and casual, and welcoming to locals and visitors alike.
There is one set of windows for ordering drinks (beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks), and another set of windows for ordering food (wursts, pretzels, baked potatoes, etc.). The bathrooms are huge and very clean.

It is nice here and the garden is really chill, but the beer is a little pricey. They do brew their own which I suppose makes it not so bad that the beer is about 3-4 euros, but its a bit painful considering you can get beers for euros nearby. Whatever though, this is a cool and decent place.

Excellent beer garden in Berlin. The restaurant has very good food, but the price is definitely on the high side for Berlin. So the restaurant is more of a "people visiting from out of town/special occasion" type deal. The main beer garden part is great for hanging out with friends drinking beers, they also have some more snack like/casual food options (sausages, pickles, corn on the cob, etc) so you aren't drinking on an empty stomach.

Bar is great for a meal with friends or colleagues. Location can be recommended for easy business dinner. The bar is good and not the usual party bar for this area. The Biergarten is great fun. Lots of kids and great to meet up with mates. Family friendly. Beer is 0.4 litre and isn't near as good as south Germany and I don't just mean the size. Good Berlin atmosphere.
