Nice restaurant. Rooms are okay...smoking on premises. Close to airport and futbol stadium. No convenient to old Town or boardwalk

The room was spacious and clean. I liked that it had an in-room safe and mini fridge. I did not like the express check out. We were catching an early flight and could not exit the hotel; the front exit was physically locked to prevent exit. There was a note to call to exit, but it wasn't clear. The first two times I called the international phone number, I got a message in French, which was difficult to understand. I then called the local number and someone came out to check us out. This would not have been a problem if it was explained at check in. I did mention that we would be checking out early when we arrived.
I understand with all of the violence happening in France that everyone must be careful. However, the security gate entering and exciting was slow and cumbersome.
Lastly, I did not like having to park in the back and then walk around the entire hotel to the front entrance each time I left and returned. A second entrance should be added to the back of the hotel.
When I booked this hotel I was told it was 4 star. I disagree and consider it to be 3 star. I've managed 4 star properties and was disappointed with the level of service and lack of attention to detail.
I would not recommend this hotel to my colleagues.

Nice Hotel with friendly English speaking staff who were happy to point out the main places of interest to visit in the area. Restaurant was goodwith a varied menu but we didn't go much on the steak.
25 minute drive from Nice Central so be prepared to drive or use public transport. Allianz Arena 5 minute walk away. Main road noisy all day which isn't great for relaxing by the pool or on the balcony, also there's a school next door,

Nice hotel, room was pretty big in size..location wise , is quite far from the city center (around 1hr by public transport). Train station nearby though, and bus stop in front of the hotel. Staff is nice, rooms kept quite clean, restaurant food is lovely

Room was very clean and tidy. Plenty of parking outside though the parking is on gravel. No issue finding a space (it's huge). Car park is secured via two gates so security is good too. Swimming pool and sun beds are clean and tidy though a little on the small side. Receptionists are very friendly and all charges were made clear on arrival. The location of the hotel itself is not near much. Suggest you bring a car. There is a nice cafe two minutes walk away (looking out of reception, turn left and it's just past the roundabout on the right hand side of the road (as you walk towards it)) I would return given the opertunity.
