Well we used to really like this place until recently. Would average 1-3 visits a week either for lunches or dinner out with friends.
The food has always been good but the service has really gone down hill and the owner is just plan rude. He does not care about is customers at all.
Went with a few friends on a half price app night. Which you are not allowed to take your left overs home anymore even though you already paid the food ordered. Waitress did not inform us of this rule.
When speaking with the manager he stated he does not care that we were not informed. Once the food is it's already paid for and he don't make any money off it.
We asked about all the food waste. And know for fact that resturanys have to pay to dump waste.
The manager stated he would rather waste the food then let people take it home!
When we told him he would be loosing customers he stated he did not care you already paid.
Just plan rude. It's really too bad they we were treated this way as we had enjoyed visiting this place but never again.

Best pub in Durham hands down. Always busy but great service. Can't go wrong if your looking for a nice night out to drink eat and shoot some pool or watch a big game or fight!

A great place to go grab a few drinks with friends. Staff is super friendly and the food is awesome! Lots of choices and always a good time!

I’ve always enjoyed my times at Riley’s. Great atmosphere, great food, and great service! Keep it up! I will be back!

Canada sucks at everything but winter Olympic sports, but this place is great! The food is up there in quality and they have pool tables. Try barking squirrel red ale. Can't go wrong.
