Have been here a few times. Had solid meals every time. The po boys were good and filling. It is small, and relatively wide open, so not the best for a quite lunch/dinner, and given it's openness, can get a little chilly in the winter with the door opening. Would recommend if you're looking for something a little different for lunch.

This place is terrible. All hype, and nothing else. I went after being hyped up by two of the ladies I went with. Upon getting there, I found the location really small and crowded, and especially loud. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. I went there expecting Creole or Louisiana style food (as I was told about) and was sadly let down when I was given jambalaya that lacked in flavour and presentation - I ate 2 bites and took the rest home so I could throw it out. Not to mention, the tall man that works there was very short with us and rude. I'm not sure if it was because he was having a busy day, but he should definitely be working on his customer service skills.

Fantastic food here, and equally notable service by Rachel. She suggested the yam fries (unequivocally, the best fries I have ever eaten), crispy, perfectly seasoned with a bit of heat on the finish. The Applecado salad with blacked chicken was also a hit, with a honey mustard vinaigrette. Both pictured here. My wife had the Chicken Gumbo, savouring every morsel and spoonful. Congratulations DaDeO!

We used to live a couple of blocks away, and frequently visited this unique little spot. Stopped by for lunch, and it was a great trip down memory lane. Has not changed, and that is great! The food and service have been consistently very good for years, and I hope it never changes.

The service here is phenomenal, the food is delicious cajun-style and all of the staff love what they do. The interior is wonderfully designed and feels like it fell out of the 1940s, with jukeboxes right at your table! I highly recommend the jambalaya and the staff are insanely friendly; I spent almost half an hour with one of them while we bonded over our mutual appreciate of Scandinavian culture (spurred on by us both having the same piece of jewelry).
