No Wind Tour - Rustaq Fort

This Fort is stunning, it sits alongside a large oasis and is surrounded by a fantastic tall mountain range. Rustaq Fort is one of the most beautiful, oldest and tallest forts in Oman. The local people here are very friendly. The locals still do traditional jobs looking after the local Oasis and the local water springs.

The Fort is surrounded by watch towers and was built in the 13th century. The Fort has a mosque, weapons room, a prison, and reception area. Look out the top towers at the fantastic view over the oasis. The views from the Fort are unbelievable and its just a 45 minute ride from Muscat city.
