EXCLUSIVE TOUR THROUGH ARMENIA FOR GOURMATES

SacVoayage Armenian Travel Company

Armenian cuisine is one of the oldest cuisines in Asia and the most ancient in the Caucasus. Its characteristic features originate even from the ancient times, when Armenians began to form as nation and remained even today. Our kitchen is a poem in which each row has its own flavor.
Tradition and continuity in Armenian cooking appear everywhere-in the use of old kitchen appliances, consisting of food raw materials, etc.
Dishes of Armenian cuisine are kind of spicy flavor and sharpness. Pepper, garlic, cumin, and various spicy herbs are used as a seasoning.
Another characteristic feature of Armenian cuisine is that in food a lot of salt must be used. Experts explain this by the climate.
