They never answer the phone. Always have to leave voicemails which are not returned. The fastest way to communicate with them is by email. They hardly ever communicate other than through email which is frustrating when you want to get an issue resolved smoothly. My tenant was never happy with them. I ended up resolving issues myself directly with the tenant. They were late in having the initial contract signed and then tried to turn around and have the tenant pay a late fee. Then it would take weeks, several emails, many voicemails for requests to be answered (before I gave up completely on them), always with the excuse "well, several employees were out of town," etc. Also, another interesting event, their bookkeeper's email got hacked. Not happy with that the guy with ALL my financial information doesn't have a secure computer.

Cedar Mills has been great at getting me into a nice rental house in a timely manner! Heather made the process super quick and easy and has been very accomidating in my situation. I have been very impressed and it is much appreciated!

My tenant left. They have not emailed me. My wife had to call and ask about our rent check cause I'm away. They said the tenant moved out. Their communication skills are lacking.

SOLDIERS AND AIRMEN AVOID! They didn't disclose all the issues with the property before we moved into the house we rented. When we tried to get maintenance to the house to fix things we used their online system which they claim to never have received causing our maintenance request to be delayed a few months. After making known several times the issues with the property they maintenance guy showed up, said he fixed the same thing more than once, and then left with the job unfinished. The final straw was during the move out we hired a professional cleaning service to clean and polish the entire house top to bottom. Then Cedar Mills turned around and billed us for the same thing again even after showing them the receipt and they were surprised and how clean it was when we did the walk through. We contacted them to discuss and they completely ignored our email and phone calls. Very poor business practices. We will never rent from this place again if we can help it!

I love this company! We have lived in a house managed by them for a year now and we have had nothing but great things to say about them. Jennifer helped us find this place and she was amazing. So helpful and kind. She has continued over the last year to be that same way. Taking time to ask me how things were going in my personal life and making a relationship with us. Every time we have come to her with a need she has always been helpful and gotten right on it.
I am also very pleased with the maintenance. It is hard to find good maintenance when renting a place, I feel like that is always everyone's biggest complaint. Everyone that has come in our door has been professional, respectful of our home and got the job done right and in a timely manner. This is a big deal to me as I have a baby and am always weary about who is in my house.
We plan on signing another lease with them and hope you find this review helpful as you are looking for your next home to live in.
