Love this place. As soon as you open the door you're hit with an overwhelming sense that day is gonna be alright. The coffee aroma hits you with the right notes and the Breakfast is delightful. I always get the everything bagel with egg, Sausage and cheese. But they also have fresh muffins and other various treats that are made in house. But for real the breakfast bagels are on point.

Great baristas putting together great drinks. Tasty snakes and sandwiches are available to snack on while relaxing in this old southern home, now serving as one of Mobile's best coffee shops.

I biked 5 miles to get out of the house and get some serious studying done -only to buy a drink, get out my laptop and go online to research and find that their internet was not working. Another customer told me that it had not been working since Monday (5 days ago). All they told me was "sorry, that sucks" and wouldn't even refund my $5 drink (which I also tipped on).
I have been to Carpe over 30 times in the last year and have always tipped generously. However, the first time I ask something of them all they can do is say "that sucks"? Sorry, but your customer service is what sucks. Looks like I'll be going to Cream and Sugar or Sartori from now on. Definitely no way to keep loyal customers..

I had a hankering for a spot of tea and scones. Carpe Diem made it so, and then some! Walking in, the atmosphere is relaxing with soft lighting, with many sitting areas - some tables and chairs while others were comfy chairs set up living room style. The woman helping me provided exceptional customer service by giving me recommendations (even letting me smell the tea!) and assisting me and my service dog get settled at my table. Both my tea and scone were absolutely delicious! My husband joined me after work and we both tried their BLT on a croissant, also incredibly good. Thank you Carpe Diem, I'll definitely be coming back!

Best coffee shop in town! Wonderful assortment of baked goods and huge selection of drinks. They make a mean nitro cold brew coffee. I always get their blueberry muffins, which are absolutely Divine! Great spot to ready a book or talk with friends. You really can't ask for much more in coffee shop! They have comfy couches and a nice outdoor porch. Clean facilities and very nice staff.
