This Safari is the perfect combo of relaxing lakes, and major National Parks. The Masai Mara national Park literally provides the most sought after wildlife experience on the earth. Then, in the Samburu, you will see some of the much rarer animals listed below. But no Safari experience can really be complete without visiting Kenya’s great lakes. Whether it’s the millions of flamingos, the hippos, the volcanic history, or the great variety of birds that impress you the most, there is no chance of disappointment. This is the perfect cool and relaxing holiday Safari.


Day I: Nairobi - Samburu
Drive north via Mt. Kenya past coffee plantations to Samburu Game Reserve for lunch. This is the home of the rare animals such as Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich. Afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Samburu
Early morning game viewing, then proceed to the camp/lodge for breakfast; Midmorning game viewing, lunch at the camp/lodge. Late afternoon game viewing.

Day 3: Samburu - Nakuru
After breakfast proceed with game viewing. Drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Lunch at the lodge.

Day 4: Nakuru - Baringo.
Spend the full day game watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park. Dinner and over at the camp or lodge.
Day 5: Baringo/Bogoria.
These two lakes are evidence of the violent volcanic origins of the surrounding earth especially in the extraordinary stepped basalt cliffs. Lake baringo is home to hippos and crocodiles as well as an abundance of colorful birds and small reptiles. Giraffe and other grazers are also present to the north of the lake. While Bogoria surprises you with its hot geysers and is famous for its spectacular Flamingo populations, the surrounding bush and grassland is also home to a number of animals.
Day 6: Mara.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya. The reserve is set in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open savannah grassland. There is abundant wildlife. The swampy land provides more access to water for the animals.
Day 7: Mara.
Full day gamedrive.
Day 8: Mara/Nairobi
Pre-breakfast gamedrive before the sunrise followed by full breakfast then depart for Nairobi.
