On this trip, you will visit Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in the north of
Rwanda which habituates approximately 300 mountain gorillas. Ten
Gorilla families are habituated for tracking. Each of the Gorillla families allows a maximum of 8 tourists tracking per day. On addition to
Gorilla tracking, you may also climb the Visoke volcano and track other primates including golden monkeys. You can also visit the Dian Fossey’s Karisoke Research Centre (her Grave) or do a Village walk, all on payment of extra.
ITINERARY
Day One: Arrival
On your arrival at the airport, you will and greet with our driver guide who will then brief you on your tour.
Overnight: Chez Lando hotel for Mid range
Or: Kempinski Hotel des Mille Collines for upper range, Bed & Breakfast
OR: Kigali Serena Hotel (high level), Bed & Breakfast
Day Two: Transfer to
Gorilla park
Cultural tour of Kigali city, with an optional visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum at Gisozi [1 hour].
Transfer to Kinigi at the foothills of the Volcanoes. Enjoy the rolling hills for which
Rwanda is well known [Approximate drive time: 3 hours]

Day Three:
Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast, you will depart for the headquarters of the Park for briefing before starting to track gorillas. After an hour of experiencing the closest primate to human. You will retire for lunch.
